Rescue Me?

People in their twenties often do not see the problems their actions will cause. If an older person tries to point out the errors of their thinking, instead of listening – even just listening, they puff up with their youthful arrogance and demand that their point of view be valued and insist that they need no advice or guidance.

Fine, just don’t let me be the one you call when it all blows up in your face, because if you can’t listen now, I doubt you would listen then. And neither will I.
